1. Access Settings in HubSpot

  • Log in to your HubSpot account.

  • Click the Settings button located at the top of the page.

2. Create a Custom Property

  • On the left-hand side, under Data Management, select Properties.
    โ€‹

  • Click on Create Property.

3. Define the Property

  • Choose a name for your custom property (e.g., "Oliv: Pain Points & Needs").

  • Set the object type as Deal so that the property appears under deal information.

4. Select Field Type

  • Most Oliv fields work best as Rich Text. Select this option for the field type.

  • Click Preview and then Create to finalize the custom field.

5. View and Customize the Field

  • Go back to Settings.

  • Under Data Management, find Objects

  • Go to Record Customization.

6. Add Oliv Fields to Deal View

  • In the Record Customization section, click on the default view.

  • On the left-hand side, click Add Cards.

  • Select Create Card.

  • Name the card (e.g., "Olive Fields") and select the custom property you created (e.g., "Olive Pain Points & Needs").

  • Click on Save and exit

7. Check the Custom Field

  • Go to any of your deals.

  • On the left-hand side, you should now see the custom field displaying "Oliv: Pain Points & Needs."

8. View Data in the Field

  • Once Oliv captures relevant information, it will automatically populate this field within your deal.

  • That's it! You've successfully created and added a custom field in HubSpot to capture Oliv's data.
